Brad Paisley wrapped up the last dates on his “Beat This Winter Tour” over the weekend with shows in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Dayton, Ohio and his home state of West Virginia, in Charleston.
At the final stop he was presented with the Distinguished West Virginian Award, which honors those who have contributed significantly to West Virginia or those who have brought positive attention to the state. The award is the highest honor that can be awarded by the Governor and it distinguishes those who excel in their field and have achieved national recognition.
Up next for Bard, it’s off to Europe for the C2C festival in Dublin, Ireland on March 15 and London on March 16 before traveling to Norway and Sweden for shows.

CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS
The specific rules for this Contest written below are in addition to “Cat Country 98.7 General Contest Rules” dated March 11th, 2014. If there is a conflict in language, these specific rules will govern.
Contest Name: Cat Country 98.7 PAY FOR MY PROM Contest (the “Contest”)

1. Description of Contest/Promotion.
A. DATES OF CONTEST: The Contest will begin 3/1/14 and end on or about 3/25/14. The Contest dates may be extended at the sole discretion of Station management.
B. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING. Void where prohibited. Odds of winning depend upon the number of participants.
C. HOW TO ENTER
Register to win on line at www.catcountry987.com, or on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter by submitting a 15 sec video of you and your Prom Date and why you want “Cat Country 98.7 to Pay for my Prom” or with the hashtag #cat987prom. Stage one will run from 3/1/14-3/16/14. Out of stage 1, three finalists will be randomly chosen by station officials. Those 3 finalists will be posted to a gallery and users will be able to get followers to vote for their video and story (1 vote per day) through Tuesday March 25, a5 830am. The winner with the most votes will be announced on the air on 3/25.
D. HOW TO PLAY
Stage one will run from 3/1/14-3/16/14. Out of stage 1, three finalists will be chosen. Those 3 finalists will be posted to a gallery and users will be able to get followers to vote for their video and story (1 vote per day) through Tuesday 3/25 at 830am. The grand prize winner will be announced on the air on 3/25. In the event of a technological failure, one of the three finalists will be randomly selected by the Cat Country 98.7 panel of judges. If winner cannot be contacted within three (3) business days an alternate name will be chosen until winner is identified.
E. ELIGIBILITY
This is a local contest sponsored by Cat Country 98.7, and it has no connection to any other organization. The Contest is open to all Cat Country 98.7 listeners at least 16 years old. Winners can win prize no more than one (1) time each thirty (30) days. Participants and winner(s) must be U.S. residents and at least 16 years old as determined by the Company and reside in the Pensacola Total Survey Area (TSA). Only one (1) entry per person. Only one (1) prize allowed per household for each Contest in every thirty (30) days. Employees of the Company, the Contest’s participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, employees of other radio or television stations, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as in-laws, or by current or past marriages, re-marriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related. Any prizes not awarded due to ineligibility of contestant are returned to the Station for reuse.
F. PRIZES
The Prize(s) that may be awarded to eligible winner(s) include: a dress from Twilight Formals and a Tux from Gent’s on 9Mile, The Boutonniere and Corsage from Fiore of Pensacola, Diner at the Fish House ($100 Gift Card), Professional Pre prom pictures from Bub Lavoy Photography. Also ladies you your hair styled at Deborah Wards – Cuttin Loose Salon, Dawn Hamil will do your make up, and Still Waters Day and Medical spa is going to hook you up with a Mani/Pedi.
All prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable. To claim a prize, winner must come to the Station’s business office 7251 Plantation Road, Pensacola, Florida during the hours of 8:15 am to 5:45 pm Monday through Friday, within 30 days after winning, and provide government-issued photo ID that Station will copy. Winner must complete the eligibility forms, Station waiver and release forms, and IRS W-9 form.

Even though Justin Moore denies being a germaphobe, you get the impression that he is, kind of. For example, when he goes to Vegas for the ACM Awards in April, he says he won’t be wading into the hotel pool.
“My wife is excited about pool time. I’m not. I don’t do public pools,” he says. “I’m not really a germaphobe, but public pools to me are disgusting. I mean, you’re talking about urine that ain’t yours, you’re talking about every germ imaginable. It’s just gross to me. My wife can do it. It creeps me out.”
Among the other things that bother the ACM New Artist Finalist are what other people may have left behind in the water. “Band-Aids. You know, you’re swimming around, there’s somebody’s Band-Aid that fell off. I mean, they had it maybe around their ingrown toenail or something,” he says. “I can’t do it.”
“I won’t drink out of water fountains either.” Also on his “no” list, touching anything in the bathroom, which he admits can be a challenge at times because of his height. “In the bathroom, like the urinal, I kick the flusher, the handle. I don’t touch it with my hands, yeah, unless it’s real tall and then obviously I can’t reach it. My legs are not the longest in the world, but [I] do the elbow thing.”

Craig dropped all that had going on when he heard about Sarah Gabbard, a teenage girl battling Sanfilippo Syndrome, and her one wish to meet him. Sarah turned 14 on Valentine’s Day and Craig made it one to remember as he stopped in to meet her in Biloxi.
