Jordan Glass brings a true hometown perspective to Cat Country 98.7. Raised in Northwest Florida, Jordan attended Navarre High School before studying journalism at Pensacola State College. His local roots, conversational style and passion for broadcasting help him connect naturally with listeners across the Gulf Coast.
Jordan began hosting nights on Cat Country 98.7 in 2017. After spending several years expanding his experience in sports and news radio, he returned to Cat Country as the station’s midday personality. Today, he keeps listeners company with today’s country music, artist news, local information, contests and the community-focused personality that sets Cat Country apart.
He is also a contributor to the Cat Pak Morning Show, helping listeners start the day with timely traffic information and updates from around Northwest Florida.
Part of an Award-Winning Cat Country Team
Jordan has contributed to some of the most successful years in Cat Country 98.7 history. During his time with the station, Cat Country has earned multiple national broadcasting honors, including CMA and ACM Station of the Year awards.
In 2025, Jordan joined Brent Lane as a nominee for the CMA Small Market Broadcast Personality of the Year, recognition that reflects their ability to entertain listeners while keeping the show firmly connected to Pensacola and the surrounding communities.
Jordan also helps lead Cat Country’s community efforts. He has co-hosted the Cat Country Cares for Kids Radiothon, including the 2026 broadcast that raised $300,000 for a dedicated Pediatric Sedation Suite at Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart.
SportsRadio Pensacola
Jordan’s love of sports is an important part of his broadcasting career. He hosts The Glass Half Full with Jordan Glass on SportsRadio Pensacola 99.1 FM and AM 1330.
The live local program covers Northwest Florida teams, college athletics and the biggest national sports stories from a Pensacola perspective. Jordan combines straightforward analysis with interviews, listener interaction and an approachable style that makes sports talk enjoyable for both dedicated fans and casual listeners. His sports broadcasting experience also includes play-by-play, color commentary, sideline reporting and coverage of teams including the Pensacola Ice Flyers and University of West Florida Argos.
News and Community Involvement
Jordan’s experience extends beyond music and sports. His work in news radio has strengthened his ability to communicate breaking information, conduct interviews and cover the stories affecting Northwest Florida. Whether he is sharing a local update, interviewing a community leader or reporting from a major Gulf Coast event, Jordan brings clarity, credibility and a distinctly local point of view.
Away from the studio, Jordan enjoys being involved with charitable organizations and community events. His service has included volunteering as an umpire for the Miracle League of Pensacola, which gives children and adults with special needs the opportunity to participate in organized sports. He is also a frequent emcee for nonprofit fundraisers and community celebrations across Northwest Florida.
When he is not behind a microphone, Jordan can often be found enjoying downtown Pensacola, spending time on Pensacola Beach or cheering on one of the area’s local teams.
