Mystery Science Theater could be back

Posted on: November 11th, 2015 by brent

Mystery Science Theater 3000 is coming back. The comedy was created by Joel Hodgson. It follows two mad scientists who launch a janitor working for Gizmonic Institute, into space and force him to watch B-movies in order to measure how much bad movie watching it takes to drive a person crazy in order to pinpoint the perfect B-movie to use as a weapon in Dr. Forrester’s scheme of world domination. Hodgson launched a Kickstarter campaign to revive the series with $2 million goal and more than $650,000 have been pledged so far. The goal amount would be enough to produce three full-length episodes. He aims for $5.5 million to make a full 12-episode season.
