Dierks Bentley Gives Back to First Responders

Posted on: October 11th, 2017 by brent

What happened October 1, 2017 at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas shook up a lot of country music stars, including Dierks Bentley. Bentley wanted to help the victims of the mass shooting. He donated blood at the Red Cross blood drive.

However, Dierks decided that wasn’t enough. He wanted to give something back to the first responders who were at the Festival. So, on Monday, October 9th, Dierks flew to Las Vegas to perform for those first responders.

Dierks went to instagram and posted pictures with this in the caption: “Thank you @UMCSN for letting me stop by and hang with y’all for a little bit”, and “Thank you for sharing your stories and your time. I needed that.”

Dierks Bentley Shares His Naked ACM Awards Nightmare

Posted on: March 22nd, 2016 by Mel McCrae

Dierks Bentley will be hosting the 51st ACM Awards with Luke Bryan in Las Vegas on April 3rd and he’s a little nervous. He posted this video on Twitter to explain the nightmare he keeps having and apparently he’s worried that he’s going to forget his clothes when he goes on stage in 2 Sundays. Undoubtedly, this is a great way to get people to remember to watch the ACM Awards this year and I’m sure the ladies enjoyed the tease!

Dierks Bentley Releases “Somewhere On A Beach” Video

Posted on: February 26th, 2016 by Mel McCrae

Dierks Bentley has taken a side-role in the video to his new song, “Somewhere on a Beach.”

It tells the story a guy who steps off a plane into Mexico, stressed, lost and alone, until a beautiful woman approaches him in a bar as Dierks and friends look on. Some people have called it a sequel to his No. 1 hit, “Drunk On A Plane.”

“It took three days to shoot this video…we got so much great stuff all over this tiny little Mexican village outside of Cancun. It kills me to think about all the funny moments that we couldn’t fit into this edit,” he says in a press release. “I hope everyone digs our take on this story, which may be a little unexpected.”

Th3 song is the first song released off his upcoming album, ‘Black’, which he says will be personal for him on several levels.

“The songs on Black range from the lonesomeness of an impossible relationship to ones that describe the feeling of finding that person that makes you forget the one that broke your heart.” The title not only reflects those feelings, but also the maiden name of his wife Cassidy.

Dierks will set out on his ‘Somewhere on a Beach’ Tour in April, and look for him co-hosting the ACM Awards with Luke Bryan April 3.

New Album From Dierks Bentley On The Way

Posted on: January 11th, 2016 by Mel McCrae

Dierks Bentley’s new album title ‘Black’ is both literal and metaphorical. He says the album will be filled with dark moments, but also some sexy and quick-witted songs. And, as we’ve become accustomed to, again it will be a very personal album.

Black is his wife Cassidy’s maiden name, something he mentioned in a press release, indicating lyrics inspired by or aimed at her might be coming. “A lot of it happens after dark, in the black of night,” he said.

“The songs on Black range from the lonesomeness of an impossible relationship to ones that describe the feeling of finding that person that makes you forget the one that broke your heart,” he says.

This will be his eighth studio album on Capitol Nashville and his first since ‘Riser’, which was released in February 2014. No release date has been announced.

Dierks will co-host the 2016 ACM Awards in Las Vegas on April 3.
