Educational Services
As part of our early intervention program, children attending Capstone Academy benefit from music, art, story time, computer, dramatic play, gross motor skills (outdoor play), fine motor skills (manipulative), and free exploration.
VOLUNTARY PRE-KINDERGARTEN (No VPK for the 20-21 school year).
Through the Early Learning Coalition of the state of Florida, Capstone Academy offers Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) to children who turn four years of age by September 1 of the school year. This program is free, and each class has no more than 11 children in it with a Florida certified teacher (ratio 1:11).
CHILDREN’S THERAPY CLINIC
Pediatric rehabilitation is designed to maximize the abilities of children when development is interrupted by an injury or a disability. This includes helping patients heal and learn the skills they need to grow into thriving adults.
FEEDING THERAPY
Feeding Therapy – Food Aversion Therapy
SPEECH THERAPY
Designed to develop a child’s speech, language, and communication skills. We also offer specialized pediatric therapy in our feeding and swallowing clinic.
PHYSICAL THERAPY
Designed to develop a child’s large (gross motor) muscles, and works on such skills as crawling, standing, walking, etc.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Designed to develop a child’s fine motor skills, including such skills as holding objects, feeding self, etc. Occupational therapy also addresses sensory issues a child may have.

HOW TO PLAY
Enter online at catcountry987.com. Participant must post a pic of you and their Valentine with a description of who they are. There will be a random drawing from all registrations collected by Cat Country 98.7 for a grand prize winner. The winner will be contacted by using contact information provided on registration. If a winner cannot be contacted within one (1) business day an alternate name will be chosen until a winner is identified.

United Way of West Florida Tax Help
Residents of Escambia and Santa Rosa counties making $73,000 or less annually are eligible to file their taxes for free with United Way of West Florida’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. Eligible participants may visit one of four convenient locations across the community or use limited virtual assistance to utilize this free service and maximize their tax return with the assistance of an IRS-certified volunteer.
VITA sites are operated by IRS partners such as United Way of West Florida and are staffed by volunteers who want to make a difference in their communities. All VITA volunteers who prepare returns must take and pass tax law training that meets or exceeds IRS standards. This training includes maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of all taxpayer information.
VITA sites will begin in-person returns on February 7th.

1. Description of Contest/Promotion.
A. DATE OF CONTEST: 11.18.2021 – 12.10.2021

B. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING. Void where prohibited. Odds of winning depend upon the number of participants.
C. HOW TO ENTER
Listen to Cat Country 98.7 at 9a, 11a, 1p, 3p, and 5p to hear the secret sound. At that time we will announce a keyword to text to play. Text that keyword to 850-430-1987 within the following 10 minutes. A random participant will be called and asked for their guess.
D. HOW TO PLAY
When you hear the Secret Sound text the Keyword as said over the air to 850-430-1987. A random participant will be called and asked for a guess. The participant will give their answer to what they think is the sound. If the participant correctly guesses the sound on the first guess of the current ‘sound’ they will win a cash prize of one thousand dollars ($1000). Each guess after the first guess has a prize value of $100, increasing by $100 until the total reaches $1000 and will remain at $1000 until a correct guess is made.
Participants who guess incorrectly will be eligible to play again in any following contest times.
Participants may only win the Secret Sound once.
E. ELIGIBILITY
This is a local contest sponsored by Cat Country 98.7, and it has no connection to any other organization. The Contest is open to all Cat Country listeners 18 or older who reside in the terrestrial reach of the WYCT signal. Winners may only win one (1) prize for the duration of this contest.
Any prizes not awarded due to ineligibility of contestant are returned to the Station for reuse.
F. PRIZES
Each contest ‘sound’ will be played until one participant correctly guesses the sound. The first guess participant will win a cash prize of ($1000) one thousand dollars if guess correctly. Each guess after that first guess has a value of $100, increasing by $100 with each guess up to $1000.
Other prizes may be awarded.
All prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable. To claim prize, winner must come to the station during the hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, within 30 days after winning, and provide government-issued photo ID and that Station will copy for file.
