Dierks Bentley Releases “Somewhere On A Beach” Video

Posted on: February 26th, 2016 by brent

Dierks Bentley has taken a side-role in the video to his new song, “Somewhere on a Beach.”

It tells the story a guy who steps off a plane into Mexico, stressed, lost and alone, until a beautiful woman approaches him in a bar as Dierks and friends look on. Some people have called it a sequel to his No. 1 hit, “Drunk On A Plane.”

“It took three days to shoot this video…we got so much great stuff all over this tiny little Mexican village outside of Cancun. It kills me to think about all the funny moments that we couldn’t fit into this edit,” he says in a press release. “I hope everyone digs our take on this story, which may be a little unexpected.”

Th3 song is the first song released off his upcoming album, ‘Black’, which he says will be personal for him on several levels.

“The songs on Black range from the lonesomeness of an impossible relationship to ones that describe the feeling of finding that person that makes you forget the one that broke your heart.” The title not only reflects those feelings, but also the maiden name of his wife Cassidy.

Dierks will set out on his ‘Somewhere on a Beach’ Tour in April, and look for him co-hosting the ACM Awards with Luke Bryan April 3.

The Cadillac Three Avoid Accident Touring In Canada

Posted on: February 22nd, 2016 by brent

The Cadillac Three has a rough few days. While on the road for Kip Moore’s ‘Wild Ones’ Tour in Canada, the group’s trailer broke in half and went into oncoming traffic on the interstate. Frontman Jaren Johnston and bandmate Kelby Ray posted photos on their Instagram pages letting fans know that they are okay. Miraculously, there were no injuries.

We were extremely lucky today. Everybody is ok. Our new custom trailer basically broke in half and went into traffic on the interstate. Thanks to the Canadian peace officers and DOT crew for their quick response. We will be using limited TC3 gear for the rest of the @kipmooremusic tour but I promise we will bring the heat.

Justin Moore Releases Wild West-style Video For “You Look Like I Need a Drink”

Posted on: February 17th, 2016 by brent

If you need a laugh, Justin Moore‘s new music video for “You Look Like I Need a Drink” should do the trick.

Justin shows off his horseback riding skills, and there are tumbleweeds aplenty, but the true star of the clip may be the plot itself. In a Wild West-style showdown, he is on the hunt for a woman named “Mad” Mary Mona Lisa, pictured in a wanted poster…and it’s not easy to find her. He repeats the same day over and over, a la ‘Groundhog Day’.

“This may be my favorite video I’ve ever shot,” he says. “I am a huge Western fan, and we shot one with a dose of comedy.”

Carrie Underwood Says Luke Bryan Would Help Her Survive A Zombie Outbreak

Posted on: February 15th, 2016 by brent

Carrie Underwood was a guest on ‘Talking Dead’ last night (February 14) and said she was sure she would survive a zombie apocalypse and it would be Luke Bryan who would help her survive it.

“I know what you’re thinking, but I was born to survive the zombie apocalypse,” she told host Chris Hardwick. “My husband bought me this zombie-survival kit for Christmas. I have a machete, I know how to use it. My songs are quite aggressive at times. I’m not afraid. I would know what to do. I was born for this.”

Twitter followers weren’t so sure with some suggesting Brantley Gilbert would be a better choice:

Carrie will be on stage tonight at the 58th Grammy Awards where she is up for Best Country Solo Performance for her tune “Little Toy Guns.”
