Gulf Side Story: The Sting Jet Song by the Cat Pak Players

“Gulf Side Story — The Sharks & the Sting Jets” is the Cat Pak Players’ comic sting jet song, bringing Pensacola-area humor to an unwelcome weather experience. Hit play for swaggering sharks, troublemaking winds, and a lawn chair headed toward Navarre.

What happens when Gulf Coast weather gets the musical-theater treatment? Finger snaps, brassy horns, rival gangs—and everybody asking, “Wait… there’s MORE?!”

The Cat Pak Players turn that unexpected weather vocabulary into a musical showdown. The Sharks have the swagger. The Sting Jets have the wind. And our lawn furniture would really appreciate being left out of it.

With shout-outs to Pensacola, Pace, Milton, Gulf Breeze, and Navarre, this song brings a little hometown humor to the cleanup.

You Brought Trouble. We Brought Friends.

Behind the laughs is a thank-you to the people helping our communities recover: neighbors checking on neighbors, linemen restoring power, first responders, volunteers, and crews doing the hard work.

Recovery is serious. Sometimes a shared laugh helps us catch our breath and keep going.
