CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR DRAW-DOWN

The specific rules for this Contest written below are in addition to “Cat Country 98.7 General Contest Rules” dated 09.24.2014. If there is a conflict in language, these specific rules will

govern.

1. Description of Contest/Promotion.

A. DATE OF CONTEST DRAW-DOWN: 05.06.17

B. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE ODDS OF WINNING. Void where prohibited.

C. HOW TO ENTER:

Be qualified for Last Prize Standing Draw-Down.

D. HOW TO PLAY:

The draw-down must be attended in-person by the Contestant (NO PROXIES ARE PERMITTED). In the event the Contestant does not arrive at the specific published time (5/6/17 not later than 12:00 noon) and attend the draw-down, that Contestant will be eliminated.

All eligible participants will register on May 6, 2017 between 11:00a – 12:00 noon at Planet Fitness (235 E Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534) and be assigned a number 1-20.  Phase 1 of the draw-down will consist of 18 numbered balls pulled one at a time out of a tumbler.  With each number pulled out, that group of participants will be eliminated from the draw-down.

Phase II of the draw-down starts when there are 2 balls representing 2 groups left in the tumbler.  Those contestants will then pick individual numbers.  Each numbered ball will be put back in the tumbler and the draw-down will continue.  As each ball is removed the contestant with that number will be eliminated.  The last ball remaining in the tumbler will be the winner and the contestant with that number will be able to choose THE LAST PRIZE STANDING.

Note that federal income taxes may be withheld from any prize valued at more than $600.00 in accordance with federal law. An IRS 1099 will be issued as per IRS regulations after 12/31/17.

E. ELIGIBILITY

This is a local contest sponsored by Cat Country 98.7, and it has no connection to any other organization.

The Last Prize Standing contest was open to all Cat Country 98.7 listeners 21 or older who live in the immediate Pensacola listening area. To be eligible to receive grand prize, contestant must be able to prove legal residence in one of the following counties: Escambia, Florida – Santa Rosa, Florida – Escambia, Alabama – Baldwin, Alabama – Okaloosa, Florida.

F. GRAND PRIZE 1 of the last 2 prizes left the Last Prize Standing Prize Board.  Other prizes may be awarded.

All prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable.

To claim any prize, winner must provide government-issued photo ID that Station will make a photocopy of, come to the Station’s business office at 7251 Plantation Road, Pensacola, Florida 32504 during office hours and complete the eligibility forms, Station waiver and release forms, and an IRS W-9 form.
