WYCT – Cat Country 98.7 and WNRP – NewsRadio 92.3 – AM1620, Pensacola’s locally owned and operated radio stations have been nominated for the National Association of Broadcasters Crystal Award for 2023 for excellence in community service, the two stations are nominated among only fifty finalists for the 37th annual awards.

Ten Crystal Radio Award recipients will be chosen by a panel of judges representing the broadcast industry, community service organizations and public relations firms. Since 1987, the NAB Crystal Radio Awards have recognized radio stations for their outstanding year-round commitment to community service.

WYCT – Cat Country 98.7, was awarded the NAB Crystal Award in 2013, 2017, and 2019. 

This is the fifth nomination for WNRP – NewsRadio 92.3- AM1620, receiving nominations in 2010, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
