WSRE Wine & Food Classic: A Taste of the French Quarter

The WSRE Wine & Food Classic returns on March 29, transforming the Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio into a vibrant French Quarter street scene. This annual event celebrates regional flavors and highlights the talents of local chefs, all while bringing the energy and culture of New Orleans to Pensacola.

The Walkabout Tasting & Live Zydeco Music

Guests will have the opportunity to sample Creole-inspired cuisine from some of the area’s top chefs while enjoying the lively sounds of the Corey Ledet Zydeco band. Attendees can cast their votes for their favorite dish, making this a truly interactive dining experience.

VIP Package Offers Exclusive Access

For those seeking an elevated experience, the VIP Package includes access to the Crescent City Soirée, featuring:

  • A cooking demonstration by New Orleans celebrity chef John Besh
  • Elevated hors d’oeuvres from top local chefs Darian Hernandez (Brother Fox), Irv Miller (Jackson’s Steakhouse), and Gus Silivos (Agapi Bistro + Garden)
  • A second-line parade led by the 9th Avenue Brass Band guiding VIP guests from the Soirée to the Walkabout Tasting

Proceeds Benefit WSRE PBS

All proceeds from the event will support the mission and programs of WSRE PBS, a service of Pensacola State College. The WSRE-TV Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 tax-deductible corporation dedicated to educational and community programming.

Guests can choose between the Walkabout Tasting or the VIP Package. Tickets are available now for an evening of exceptional cuisine, live entertainment, and New Orleans-style festivities. For more information or to buy your ticket, visit https://www.wsre.org/events/wfc/
