Director and Actor, Kevin Smith, has massive heart attack

Posted on: February 26th, 2018 by Candy

From Kevin’s Facebook page: I was trying to do a killer standup special this evening but I might’ve gone too far. After the first show, I felt kinda nauseous. I threw up a little but it didn’t seem to help. Then I started sweating buckets and my chest felt heavy. Turns out I had a massive heart attack. The Doctor who saved my life at the #glendale hospital told me I had 100% blockage of my LAD artery (also known as “the Widow-Maker” because when it goes, you’re a goner). If I hadn’t canceled the second show to go to the hospital, the Doc said I would’ve died tonight. For now, I’m still above ground! But this is what I learned about myself during this crisis: death was always the thing I was most terrified of in life. When the time came, I never imagined I’d ever be able to die with dignity – I assumed I’d die screaming, like my Dad (who lost his life to a massive heart attack). But even as they cut into my groin to slip a stent into the lethal Widow-Maker, I was filled with a sense of calm. I’ve had a great life: loved by parents who raised me to become the individual I am. I’ve had a weird, wonderful career in all sorts of media, amazing friends, the best wife in the world and an incredible daughter who made me a Dad. But as I stared into the infinite, I realized I was relatively content. Yes, I’d miss life as it moved on without me – and I was bummed we weren’t gonna get to make #jayandsilentbobreboot before I shuffled loose the mortal coil.

Amy Schumer will no longer take pics with fans…

Amy Schumer is taking a firm new policy with fans: She won’t be taking any more photos with them – and it’s all thanks, she said, to one particular fan in South Carolina.

As Schumer, 34, explained in a Saturday Instagram post, a man (pictured in the post) had “just run up” to her on the street in Greenville and “scared the s—” out of her. The comedian performed in the city Saturday night.

“Put a camera in my face. I asked him to stop and he said ‘No it’s America and we paid for you,’” Schumer wrote in her caption, adding that the man was with his daughter.

“I was saying stop and no. Great message to your kid. Yes legally you are allowed to take a picture of me. But I was asking you to stop and saying no,” Schumer wrote.

“I will not take [pictures] with people anymore and it’s because of this dude in Greenville,” she wrote.

“Greenville makes you feel like mmmmmmm,” she wrote.

Schumer elaborated on her Instagram post on Saturday, writing on Twitter that she still will take photos “with nice people when I choose to if it’s a good time for that.

“But I don’t owe you anything,” she continued. “So don’t take if I say no.”

Schumer also told PEOPLE in a statement that she was grateful for her fans:

“I am grateful to people who like my work and support me but not the ones who think that behavior is ok.”

Later, the comedian apparently unwound with a bit on equine therapy, writing hours later alongside a photo with a horse, “Day turned around with Harley.”

Kelly Ripa was NOT very happy to find out Michael Strahan was being moved to “Good Morning America” full time.  Kelly found out yesterday right before the rest of the world.

Michael walked onstage Wednesday with Ana Gasteyer, and he made light of the move.
