# Clarifying the Vote for Governor with the Supervisor of Elections

### Election Day Information

- Voting is August 18th with polls open 7 AM to 7 PM on election day.
- Early voting runs through Saturday at 10 locations, open 8 AM to 5:30 PM.

### Governor Race Ballot Instructions

- Vote for one candidate in the Governor and Lieutenant Governor race (only one bubble).
- Lieutenant Governor candidates weren’t finalized at printing time, so names appear under Governor candidates only.
- Winners will announce their Lieutenant Governor pick for the November ballot.

### Overvote Protection

- If you accidentally vote for two candidates in this race, the machine alerts you to overvoting.
- You can request a corrected ballot with no penalty.
